My name is Tanya Williamson, and I am a proud Native woman from the southern Sierras area. I have the great opportunity to know and to work with some of the most respectful, passionate, and traditional people on the CAPDAA Board of Directors. My goal as one of the Board members is to utilize our resources available to us and to return California traditional lands to their rightful stewards to enable tribal people to return to their rightful lands. We can play a part to protect the traditional lands we were once removed from once we are able to get back to them and utilize our traditional plants, land, and water. We here at CAPDAA can help and find the path that all tribal people can use and navigate to find simple ways to get back to our traditional lands.
