Jim Thorne is research faculty at UC Davis. His interests lie in combining various data types and models using maps to develop understanding of historical trends and potential futures. His lab specializes in land use/landcover change in the face of a changing climate. For this project his lab is compiling previous allotment surveys and developing projections of changing ecological conditions across allotment lands in California.
